HexFlight

Printable aircraft designed first as durable, readable tabletop game pieces for Death Spiral.

HexFlight takes its shape from recognizable WWI aircraft forms and the needs of an active game table. The range and public print details are still being developed.

Design principles

Aircraft made to be handled.

A HexFlight model should read as the right aircraft, work as a repeated-use game piece, and belong on the Death Spiral table.

Recognizable silhouette

The aircraft should be identifiable at table distance through its characteristic shape and proportion.

Practical construction

Parts and details should support printing, handling, storage, and repeated games rather than display-only fragility.

Aircraft character

The model should preserve the visual identity that makes one airframe distinct from another.

Finished prototypes

Aircraft built for the table.

Painted HexFlight models shown in working Death Spiral games.

Current development

The hangar begins with the table.
