HexAxis

The articulated printable flight-stand platform being developed for Death Spiral.

HexAxis holds aircraft above the table and carries numbered reference faces in its printed base. The mechanics and assembly language are taking shape alongside the game.

System purpose

A stand that communicates, not just supports.

HexAxis holds an aircraft in play and supports clear tabletop reference. It is being built alongside Death Spiral rather than added as a generic stand after the fact.

The prototype photographs show the working relationship between aircraft, upright supports, and numbered bases. More detail will arrive with the next stage of the stand's development.

At the table

The stand in working context.

Finished aircraft and printed HexAxis stands used across the Death Spiral Battlefield during prototype play.

Current development

Built around the flight.

Aircraft support

Prototype aircraft are carried above the table on printed HexAxis supports.

Position and facing

Faceted bases and numbered reference faces bring clear physical reference to the table.

Flight positions

Current prototypes show aircraft at different heights and attitudes during play.

Printable construction

The stand is being developed as a printed physical system for repeated tabletop use.

HexFlight compatibility

HexAxis is being developed alongside the HexFlight aircraft range.

Public details

Assembly and release information will be shared through official Hexwerks channels when ready.

Prototype engineering

Follow the stand as it takes shape.

Workshop updates will continue to show the physical work behind the flight system.
